दोष - " दूषयन्तीति दोषा:।" जो शरीर ( शरीरगत धातुओं )को दूषित करे उसे दोष कहते हैं। That which is responsible to vitiate the other substances is called Dosha . That which vitiates the body as well as the mind is also called Dosha . "वायु: पित्तं कफश्चोक्त: शारीरो दोष संग्रह:। " (च.सू.1/56) 'शरीरदूषणाद् दोषा धातवो देहधारणात् । वातपित्तकफा ज्ञेया मलिनीकरणान्मला:।।'(शा.पू.5/24) भावार्थ- हमारे शरीर में इन वात आदि की स्थिति इस प्रकार है - जब ये शरीर को विकृत या दूषित करते हैं तब ये 'दोष' कहलाते हैं, जब ये मानव को स्वस्थ रखते है तब 'धातु' कहलाते है ,और जब ये शरीर को मलिन करते है तब इन्हें 'मल' कहा जाता है। These three doshas are also known as 'Dhatu' as they support the body in their state of equilibrium which represent normalacy whereas they are spoken of as 'Doshas' dur...
